The Word is a noncommercial, listener supported radio ministry of Minnesota Christian Broadcasters, Inc. (MCBI). MCBI owns and operates 104.3 The Pulse in The Brainerd Lakes area and 91.5 & 102.7 The Word in St. Cloud and Pequot Lakes. 

     The Word’s Mission is to “serve Central Minnesota listeners by Evangelizing with the Gospel, Equipping for living the Christian faith and Encouraging through building relationships.”

     Since 1978 our goal has been to broadcast music, teaching and talk programs and features filled with accurate and sound Biblical content. We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and that every word is true. It alone is “living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to the dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart” (Hebrews 4:12).
