Oral Tradition... for centuries stories have been handed down from one generation to the next in order to communicate and preserve the significant. In their telling there is respect and honor for those who speak. For those who listen, there is a stewardship... the freedom to receive, embrace and pass on what they've heard. There are stories that should be told - stories that deserve respect, but have too often been silenced... until now. Native American Radio has a new voice - The Storyteller.
The Storyteller is an audio collection of true life stories of First Nations people from across Native North America who are following Jesus Christ without reservation. Don't be fooled, this is not some religious, feel good program. Their Christian perspective is unique. This is real life. It's raw, direct and personal. Have you ever wondered if there really is hope for something better? We invite you to listen.

Dr. Rich Boerckel
The radio ministry began under the name “Firm Foundation Radio”, and began as a suggestion of Scott Krus, then General Manager of WBNH Radio, the local Moody affiliate. Pastor Ritch’s desire was to hold up the name of Jesus, not his own, and was at first reluctant to do a broadcast. God used Scott and through his encouragement Ritch came to see how God could be glorified by proclaiming Jesus Christ as Lord over the airwaves. The first program aired in August 2004. The name was changed to Knowing ChristTM Radio with the national launch of the program in 2013. Ritch is thankful for so many who have encouraged and assisted him in expanding the ministry of God’s Word both on radio and at Bethany Baptist Church.
